THE HOLOGRAPHIC FESTIVAL FASHION EDIT

The 90’s are coming back, and nothing screams 90’s like CD’s, or more specifically the holographic sheen that catches the lights creating amazing pearly, rainbows. 2018 was the year of slime green, but as we step into 2019, I wanted to take a moment to look ahead at the festival fashion trends of the new year. Now I may be 100 percent off, but my bets are on Holographic prints and materials that will shine in the spring sunshine of the first festivals of the season.

Hologram has been slowly but surely making a comeback and it isn’t hard to see why. The pearly, slightly white color looks fantastic on everyone no matter what their skin color, which is always a plus. As someone on the tan side of skin tones it is always nice to see colors that look great on more than one person come into style.

So…without further ado, here are some of my favorite holographic looks of the year so far.

OMEGA CENTAURI HOLOGRAM BACKPACK $38.00

I am obsessed with this bag. I usually am not into backpacks over a fannypack, but for this one, I might have to make an exception. If you are just dipping your toes into the holographic trend, I would recommend starting with something like this because you can wear it IRL and not only at festivals. That price point isn’t too bad either.

HOLO MOTOCROSS PANTY TROUSERS $420.00

Now, these have to be some of the coolest pants I have ever seen in my entire life. However, the price point is a little difficult for me. I will say that if you have the money to drop on these pants, then you should one hundred percent go for it because they are amazing.I love the mix of the hologram and the black, for those of us who are aren’t 900 percent committed to a full hologram look, but the cutouts are what really make these pants.

CELESTIAL ODYSSEY IRIDESCENT WEEKENDER $45.00

This bag. This bag. This bag is amazing, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. Again this is a perfect example of rocking the trend without breaking the bank or committing to being decked out in full body hollo. We can all use a weekender bag especially for those two or three-day festivals where you need to cart around all of your outfits for the weekend. Why not do it in style? Also, this would be the most amazing gym bag on the planet.

OPULENT EMPRESS HOLOGRAM BUSTIER $35.00

As a girl who’s got a little bit more of a curvy figure I am a massive fan of bustier tops. They are flattering on literally every single body type and not to mention super cute. This particular holo look is not only fabulous but super well priced. I would pair this with a pair of white bottoms for an out of this world look or maybe even with the matching bottoms to look like a festival fashion, alien princess.

COSMIC QUEEN HOLOGRAPHIC DRESS $55.00

Sometimes you need to roll up to the club looking extra AF, and this is the dress to do it in. I am obsessed with the holographic fringe, and the blue, pink sheen is going to have you looking like a space angel, which should always be your goal. Again, that price point isn’t bad at all which makes it another awesome option for adding the trend to your wardrobe.

SPACE COWGIRL SEQUIN CHAPS $70.00

I love chaps. I may even do a whole article/ edit on how chaps are alongside bike shorts as the perfect item of festival clothing. I have never seen anything as amazing as these holographic sequin chaps, and if you can find something better, please tell me because those would be something I would NEED to see to believe.

SEE RIGHT THRU U PLATFORM BOOTS $100.00

Is it even a Glitter Gang festival fashion edit without a pair of Demonia boots? The answer is no. It isn’t. I love these boots, and I doubt you will find a cooler way to rock the hologram trend than with a pair of these baddies. Yeah they are a little pricey (still nowhere near those Namila pants lol), but Demonia boots are fantastic quality and super comfy to boot (haha get it). I love the mix of sheer paneling and the white base so that you can work them into more outfits than just space princess vibes.

PURE COSMIC PHANTASM CRINKLE SET $88.00

This set is one of the coolest I have seen out there. I have always been a big fan of matching sets because it is basically like having three outfits in one. You can wear each of the items separately or combine them to make a super badass festival look. The price is reasonable, and the spacey vibes are pretty unique. Unlike some of this stuff, which is basically only going to work as a festival outfit, this jogger suit could easily be incorporated into your everyday life (especially the top).
