GOING TO CRUSH? HERE'S SOME OUTFIT INSPO

Hey guys! Are any of you planning on going to Crush this year? If you are, I wanted to throw together some outfit ideas for you. Dressing for raves is always kind of a challenge, but dressing for a valentines day themed event creates some of its own challenges. So first things first, if you don’t know about what Crush is, its a one-day events put on by insomniac in a few cities across the country. This year there are having events in SoCal (the one I will be attending), San Francisco, Denver, Pheonix, and Dallas. The Pheonix event is actually taking place throughout two days as it is the tenth anniversary of the event, so if you want a longer event, I would check that one out. The tickets are sold in two’s, but don’t let that discourage you if you are single AF like me. My friend and I are going as a ‘couple,’ and I know a few other single people who are doing the same thing, so don’t worry about that. The ticket prices are really reasonable, and the lineup is also pretty decent and have an interesting range.

I am super into dressing for themes events because I just like to feel like a part of the event aesthetic and like I am contributing to it in my own small way. It is also a super fun way to get a group of people involved if you plan matching squad costumes, or even couples costumes. Thankfully with valentines day just around the corner, there are a ton of pink and red items on offer, including specifically valentines day themed gear.

FOR THE HEAVENLY BABES

This first outfit is for the heavenly babes who feel more at home in baby blues than bright pinks. A mix of sheer and solids to give you some coverage without feeling like you are wandering around but naked.

I am a big fan of these earrings. While I don’t typically rave in earrings, I think there is something to be said for a dope pair of earrings every once in a while. I love these because they are on theme but still subtle enough that you can still get a ton of wear out of them.

This is the look for a babe who likes to be pretty in pink. She loves to look like a literal angel fallen from the clouds, but maybe with a little leather mixed into all of the lace.
