Escape Psycho Circus is a two-day Halloween themed event that takes place in Southern California. It is put on by Insomniac Events and takes place at the NOS Event Center each year around Halloween. It is a relatively large event with multiple stages and tons of different genres of electronic music. They go above and beyond to stick to the Halloween theme, even having a haunted house that you can explore if you are willing to wait in line. Overall it is an enjoyable festival and worth checking out.
Secret Project will always hold a special place in my heart. I went to the festival alone, after working a long shift, right after moving to LA. I didn’t know anyone at all in LA when I went to Secret Project, but I left having met some people who are now a few of my best friends in the world.
It is a two-day event, starting in the afternoon and going until the early evening, that focuses on a blend of house and techno music. So, if you aren’t really into those two genres, then this may not be the event for you.
I am so excited to introduce a new section of the website: Festival Guides. When I first started looking for events to attend there was nothing more annoying than not being sure which to go to, where to stay, what to expect and everything else that you really should be able to find before you drop a couple hundred bucks on a weekend. I couldn’t find any festival guides, so I decided to make my own.
